Beautiful. I did try the original once before. What a bad pattern! Very difficult and not correct in the least bit.
How did you do the bottom trim/edging. I love the look.

I didn't do anything to the edge at all. I just stopped doing the lace at the bottom and then did a normal bind off. It naturally curled. I wanted to sew some store-bought lace to the bottom, but my cousin liked it as it was.
